Hi friends! This week we went to some museums: the field museum, the aquarium, and the planetarium. I loved the aquarium! I was fascinated by the different species of fish. I spent lots of time with friends. We had fun together. During school, I saw many presentations about literature in English class. They were very informative. On Thursday, we vistited the Museum of Science and Indrusty. My favorite part was trying out the weather simulator. We also toured the University of Chicago. Our guide, Alexis, showed us the huge school. At the University, they offer many career paths. On Friday, the students from Marist made a scavenger hunt for us. It consisted of finding clues that lead to a prize. My group did not win but we had fun. We made Mother's Day cards too. That evening I watched my first American football game. Marist won and we had a great time. Saturday we went downtown to Michigan Avenue. There were a lot of wonderful clothes but they were too expensive for me. I could

Hi friends! Today was my first day at an American school. The teachers greeted us with a nice breakfast and nice gifts, then we went to art class where I got to see wonderful art from students, everybody was nice and welcoming. My favorite subject was journalism, but I also like European history where we learned about witches. Even tough the cafeteria was loud and big, we had fun. Overall my first day at school was exciting and informative. Another thing is that I was so proud of my classmates won their soccer game and that my country won the World Cup qualifier. We had a party and we watched the game together. We ate food, we sang, we dance..... It was amazing to see American and argentinean culture combined.
Good morning Chicago! Chicago is a big city as I heard. Yesterday mrs. hynes showed me some pictures of Chicago. We are in the southside of Chicago it's the most quiet place all over Chicago. It's safe too and we all want to stay in a secure place. Patsy Hynes ( mrs. hynes) told me that we have to be careful if we go to the west side or the downtown because there are many robbers out there. Also in the west side . However Chicago is an interesting city which has a lot history.
Hi again! I'm having such a great time here. I love this place and I do love my host... who is cate as it told you. She's a wonderful girl, she makes me laugh all the time. I have learned a lot of customs that I don't really have in my country. We also have a different organization at school. It's a new experience to live and I want to get through this because it's a big challenge. She's cate! She's already 17 years old. She's hosting me for these days I'm so glad to stay with her.
